The day will be chock-full of horsemanship, crafts, games, and animal care. And no farm day camp is complete without some farm chores - so wear your boots, because we’ll be feeding animals, cleaning pens, collecting eggs, and more.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FARM / HORSE DAY CAMPS
Will my child have fun if they sign up for multiple days?
Absolutely, whether repeating the same type of camp or trying a new one! While some activities will repeat, there will be lots of opportunities to explore deeper, gain new skills, and have fun!

What style of riding do you do in Horse Day Camps?
Our campers ride in the same style as the lesson program, focused on developing a balanced seat, predominantly in English-style saddles. We teach our students to be soft, centered, and strong, which will make them a more confident rider in any discipline.

What should my child wear and bring to Day Camp?
Campers should bring a lunch, snack, water bottle, any medications you've alerted us about, and sunscreen (if sunny!). Details about what to wear to Farm and Horse Day Camps can be found in the registration information on 6crickets - we'll also email you before camp starts to remind you.
RIDERS WORKSHOP SERIES
Can I attend regardless of my riding level?
Our Riders Workshops are open to all Holly Farm students of any level, however workshops noted as ‘Level 2+’ are only for riders at Level 2 or 3. Please check in with your instructor if you are unsure which Riders Workshops you are eligible for.
Can my child attend a workshop if they ride somewhere else?
Riders from any background are welcome to attend our Horse Camp for Grades 4–8, however, our Riders Workshops are limited to current students, as they are specifically designed around the teaching style and progression used in our lesson program. Our instructors know the levels and abilities of our regular students, to create a safe and personalized experience.
